South Carolina presently releases 1,000 inmates a month back into society. Sadly, often times the ex-offender is not welcomed back into his/her community. Many communities are not prepared to help the ex-offender in ways that will ensure successful reintegration. Columbia Re-Entry Initiative is dedicated to helping inmates that have re-entered society in the Columbia Metro Area. The ministry has as its primary focus, to aid inmates post release, in the process of restoration. It is our desire to see ex-offenders come to excellence spiritually, emotionally and socially.
